Route

We leave Barruera (1,097 m), from the Tourist Office, we will go to the church of Sant Feliu to take the walk on the right bank of the river in a northerly direction, following the paved track. We leave the old stone bridge on the right and continue straight on along the path. We follow the path on the left, cross a bridge and continue along an old arm of the river until we reach the entrance to the cement plant. Then we turn left and continue upstream until, after a stretch of climb between dry stone walls, we cross a curve of the old road. We continue to the right for 350 m, and passing through the tunnel that will take us to the other side of the L-500 road, we climb again between dry stone walls the last section that will take us, after crossing the ravine, to in the Plaça del Tarter in Erill la Vall (1,250 m).

Once in Erill la Vall (1,247 m) we will go down to the Church of Santa Eulàlia to take the path that will take you to Boí (1,265 m), we will go down all the way until we reach the L-500 road that we will have to cross. We will go down some stairs and cross a bridge over the Noguera de Tor and take the ascent that climbs until we reach the Boí car park.

Once in Boí (1,265 m) we follow the path that comes out of the Taüll road, near the curve that makes it inside the village. On a continuous ascent we pass sections with remains of the original cobblestones of the path to finally reach the Taüll road (1,480 m), about 400 m from Sant Climent road up. Now we will undo the path to return to Boí, by the same path we went up. Once in Boí we will go down to the river square in the S direction. After 200 m we take the turnoff that goes up to the left and cross a large scree from where we get a fantastic view of the Vall de Boí. We cross a pass near Roca d'Espà and then descend to Durro (1,390 m), reaching the paved track above the school building. Once in the schools we will go down to the church of the Nativity to go down the path on the left between dry stone walls and always through the forest until we reach Barruera crossing the old stone bridge.
